With a deep rooted passion for our nation’s history and an insatiable appetite for studying and understanding America's rich and interesting history, David has conducted more than 3,000 tours, and spoken to more than 65,000 people. Leading everything from walking tours, to bus, private, and large group tours.
David is a Historian, Speaker, Certified Master Guide, and a rare find among public speakers and tour guides. He continually strives to go beyond just "the facts of history" and successfully weaves together, the not-so-well known stories of our rich heritage.
As this photo suggests, David wants his groups to have fun, and is known for his great sense of humor. Come, let him help you make memories for a lifetime.
David resides in Northern Virginia with his lovely wife Holly. They have four grown children and six wonderful grandchildren.
When he isn’t speaking to a group, or on a tour, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, or a quiet evening with Holly and his Kindle.
